plit Incentive often poses as a challenge towards green initiatives and development that is
consideredas one of themain culprits of stiflingboth innovation and obstructing the implementation
of Green Tenancy. This Chapter serves to provide a detailed explanation regarding the basis of a
Split Incentive, and aims to allow stakeholders to be able to recognise and categorise different types
of Split Incentives that may occur. It will also provide certain examples which stakeholders may refer
to as methods for solutions.
